Lucas Fernando Kontny is a photojournalist whose work explores social and political conflicts as well as how life carries on around it. He develops long-term projects based on research, observation and close contact with the people he engages with. Moving between writing and more visual approaches, he looks at how broader events shape everyday lives. He recently graduated from Ostkreuzschule and lives and works between Berlin/Freiburg and West-Asia. His work is regularly exhibited and internationally published.
